Marilyn D'Amelia

“Miss Marilyn” has taught thousands of youngsters over the many years she has been with us. She teaches the little ones not only the art of dance but a sense of self-discipline as well. Her classes are a perfect pre-requisite for any pre-schooler.

Christie Pantalone

“Miss Chris” is Eleanor’s daughter and has been in the dance studio since the age of 2 ½. She studied at our studio all through high school and while attending college. During this time she had the opportunity to meet and come under the tutelage of Debbie Dee who teaches for most major organizations across the country. Chris studied and demonstrated for Debbie for many years and now teaches master classes and judges competitions herself. Many of her students have been both high score and title winters at national competitions. Her student Corey Snide won the Gold Medal for both Show Dance and tap in the Worlds IDO in Reisa, Germany.

Robin Deet

We are fortunate to have “Miss Robin” teaching our ballet classes for the past 12 years. Robin began her early ballet training with Phyliss Marmein. She attended the Atlanta School of Ballet, the Joffrey Ballet School, ABT School and studied under Igor Schweitzoff, Melissa Hayden and Violette Verdy. She was the Director of The New School of Ballet of Schenectady from 1975–1999. Her students have been accepted to the School of American Ballet, North Carolina School of the Arts, Royal Ballet Academy, Alvin Ailey School, Julliard and Walnut Hill. Robin’s former students have become soloists with New York City Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Ballet West, Charleston Ballet and Eugene Ballet Company.

Anthony Morigerato

Anthony studied at our school from the age of 6 through 18 when he graduated from high school and went to Marymount College for Dance. Anthony is a busy young man traveling from his home in New York City to his home in Albany teaching for us each week. He is a most sought after teacher and choreographer for many major studios and dance organizations. He taught tap at Gil Stroming and Michael Minery’s “Slide” this summer and is a soloist in Mike’s “Tapaholics”. Anthony has started his own dance company named A.M. Dance Project which performed in New York City on October 6th, 7th , and 8th, 2007. His company will be performing in the Albany area in January 2008 and again in New York City in May, 2008.

Lorri Leonardi

Lorri is Eleanor’s granddaughter and also grew up in the studio. Although she has her own studio with her partner Michele in Saratoga, she finds time to teach for us. Lorri’s students have won many competition titles. Lorri is also a member of Anthony’s Dance Company.

Stephanie Kaiser

Stephanie has been with our school as long as Anthony. Upon graduation, she attended Point Park College where she graduated a year early with a degree in dance education. She continues her dance education by going to New York City as often as she can to study with top teachers in her field. She brings many innovative ideas to her students in both contemporary and jazz.

Chendell Aufiero

This is Chendell’s 3rd year teaching at our Clifton Park Studio. She teaches many classes from pre-schoolers through intermediate level. Chendell is a many time competition high score winner and has a unique style all her own. She, too, is a member in Anthony’s company.

Aaron Parkhurst

Aaron is Miss Chris’s assistant with our Pee Wee and Mini Competition classes and this year will be teaching some solo and duo routines. He has also been teaching tap classes at R.P.I. for the past two seasons and will be doing so again this year. He has won many regional and national high scores and titles with his solos as well as being a champion with his duo partners. Aaron is a soloist in Anthony’s new company.

Nicole Dott

“Nikki” will be graduating from Albany College of Pharmacy this year with her Pharmacy degree. She was an assistant teacher all through high school and came back last season to teach in our Clifton Park studio. She loves working with and teaching the little ones. Nikki was also an award winning soloist and group member of our competition team.

Alli Crell

Alli attends Siena College but still finds time to teach for us a few days a week. She is one of our Colonie teachers and teaches pre-schoolers through adult classes. Alli is Anthony’s niece and is helping him with some of the technical aspects of his new company. She was also a member of our competition team for many years.

Amy Auger

Amy attends St. Rose College and like Alli, still finds time to teach dance three days a week. Amy teaches in both Delmar and Colonie and mostly works with pre-schoolers through intermediate students. Amy was also with our award winning competition team.

Jim Uline

Jim had his own studio in Schenectady for many years. Last year he joined our staff bringing some of his students with him. His forte is in teaching jazz and doing what we call “clean-up” for competition numbers. He has trained many competition winners over the years.

Brittney Griffin

Brittney graduated last year from the University of Buffalo with a Dance Degree. She is another of our graduates who has been with our studio since she was a toddler. She returned to us last year to choreograph some of our competition jazz routines. Last Spring she traveled with the touring company of “Hair Spray” and is currently on the Asian tour of “42nd Street”. We are proud to say Brittney was also a member of our Competition Team.

Sonya Langan

Sonya continues to study with us as well as being a member of our Senior Competition team. She has been an assistant teacher for Miss Chris and Miss Robin for the past three seasons.

Carissa Gravelle

Like Sonya, Carissa continues her studies as well as being on our Senior Competition Team. She also attends many Hip Hop conventions to continue her “Hip Hop Education”.

Katelyn Black

Kate is a senior at New Lebanon Central School this year and has studied dance since she was five years old. She is also a member of our Senior Competition Team. Kate studies all styles of dance but has a special love of hip hop.

Karyl Bell

Karyl is another member of our Senior Competition team and Miss Lorri’s assistant. She studied the past two summers at Purchase College with American Academy of Ballet. Karyl studies ballet, point, hop hop, tap, jazz and this year added ballroom.

Lia Luciano

Lia, an assistant teacher, has been dancing for fifteen years in the disciplines of jazz, ballet, lyrical, modern, contemporary and tap. She has participated in dance competitions for the last eight years. She was accepted to New York City’s American Ballet Theater summer intensive, she participated in the Joffrey Ballet and Radio City Rockettes summer intensives, was a NYCDA 2007 Runner-Up Outstanding Dancer and was a first place winner at the Starpower Senior Division in each of three categories (jazz, modern and contemporary). She received the Tap Dance Scholarship Award at the JUMP Dance Convention and she is a dance footwear model at BUNHEADS in Saratoga Springs, New York. Lia is also a National Honor Society Student.

Abby Karam

Abby has taken classes at our studio since the age of seven and continued until she graduated this past June. She now attends Wagner College in New York majoring in Musical Theater. Abby has appeared in many shows at Cohoes Music Hall and is also a member of Anthony’s AM Dance Project. Abby does all forms of dance and us a multi-Regional, State and National winner. We are so happy that on school breaks and some weekends, she is able to take the time to come home to substitute and do clean up lessons.

Kathleen Christopher

Kathleen Christopher is a presidential honor student attending University at Albany majoring in business administration. Kathleen trained at Darcy's Academy of Dance in Westchester, NY for ten years. Presently, she is the captain of the University Dance Team and choreographing for the University Dance Council.
